article imageReview: Cody Simpson captivates on 'Love' music video with Ziggy Marley Special

By Markos Papadatos     Feb 9, 2014 in Entertainment
Cody Simpson is one of the hardest-working artists in pop music. He continues to film music videos for his fans, such as the one for "Love" with Ziggy Marley.
It was posted on February 5 on the official YouTube channel of AwesomenessTV. The video was directed by Florent Déchard and it was made possible thanks to House of Marley, as well as 1-800-Flowers.
"Love" is the closing track on Simpson's Surfers Paradise album that was released on Atlantic Records, and he co-wrote the tune with Marley.
The video for "Love" commences as a tropical safari which shows the teen heartthrob on a beach strumming his acoustic guitar along with some cool flashback images. It is a soaring collaboration with Ziggy Marley (the eldest son of musical legend Bob Marley), where both artists shine. The song has a laid-back and relaxing reggae vibe to it and Marley helps elevates it to a higher level. It garners 4 out of 5 stars. Well done Cody and Ziggy.
