This year I was afforded the great privilege to interview 10 of the greatest women in music for Digital Journal, across all genres.
Here is my list of the 10 greatest interviews I conducted at various point throughout the year, which is arranged in alphabetical order (since all of these interviews are equally significant).
Amy Grant- Christian singer-songwriter and multi-Grammy award winner Amy Grant was back with her new album How Mercy Looks From Here and she spoke to Digital Journal about that CD, which came out on Sparrow Records, as well as her future plans in music.
How Mercy Looks From Here included duets with such artists as Carole King, James Taylor, Will Hoge, Eric Paslay, Sheryl Crow and her husband, Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill.

Brenda Lee- Brenda Lee is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, as well as Country Music Hall of Famer, who opened up with Digital Journal about her illustrious career in music. She is best-known for her Christmas classic "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree."

Claire Lynch- Bluegrass singer Claire Lynch is this year's International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) "Female Vocalist of the Year." She discussed her recent win with Digital Journal, as well as being the recipient of the United States Artists Walker Fellowship.

Dale Ann Bradley- Bluegrass songstress Dale Ann Bradley has one of the most purest and gentle voices in the industry. She was crowned IBMA "Female Vocalist of the Year" five times in her career, and she spoke with Digital Journal about her upcoming album which will feature duets with male artists.

Hayley Williams from Paramore- Rock superstar Hayley Williams from Paramore talked with Digital Journal about their "Self-Titled" tour, which included a stop at New York's Madison Square Garden. She also spoke about their new album and winning a "Teen Choice Award" for "Best Rock Group."

Judy Collins- Ms. Collins chatted with Digital Journal, thus reflecting on her 54-year career in music, and she shared her plans for the future, which include a PBS special that will be televised in February.

Martina McBride- Country queen Martina McBride chatted with Digital Journal and she spoke about her "Joy of Christmas" tour this year, as well as her group of dedicated volunteers called "Team Martina," which is run by Ms. Sheila Jones. This volunteer organization works to raise money for causes that are dear to their hearts.
