Virginia to Vegas discusses ‘Lights Out’ single, Ariana Grande (Includes interview)

On his new radio single “Lights Out,” the platinum recording artist said, “It was the first song on the album that assisted where the album was going. There are some older songs, but ‘Lights Out’ was the first of the new batch that helped the new direction of Virginia to Vegas. We just started writing with a chord progression and one thing lead to another. From my experience, the songs that have had the most success are the ones that come together the quickest, and that’s what happened with ‘Lights Out.'”

Regarding his plans for the future, he said, “We have a big tour lined up for Ontario and Quebec that will start in March. We are really excited about that. We are playing in my hometown in Toronto, which is really exciting since I never headlined a show here before. I’m excited to get out and meet the fans and play for them more than an opening set. It’s going to be nice to really be able to spend more time with the fans.”

For his fans, he said, “Thanks for the continued support. We are putting in a lot of work right now, so there will be a lot of new music in 2017. It’s going to be a good year. I am excited and thankful for everything. Stay tuned, because we have a lot new music coming.”

He listed pop superstar Ariana Grande as his dream female duet choice. “In terms of pop music, I think Ariana Grande has an amazing voice, and that would be really cool,” he said.

Virginia to Vegas’ “Lights Out” is available on iTunes.
