“Skitzo” is being released on Monday, March 6, through 617 Records via Symphonic Distribution. In this new video, Bermudez is showing off his “bad-ass side,” and he referred to this project as his “Sasha Fierce moment,” which is best known as the alter ego of Beyonce.
His new single is one of his best works to date. It is a slight departure of Bermudez’ two previous singles “Sunrise” and “Shadows,” both of which were about getting over a failing romance and heartbreak. “Skitzo” has a great deal of confidence and attitude to it, and it encourages clubbers and electronic music fans to embrace their inner craziness and let loose on the dance-floor.
Throughout his career in the music industry, the DJ phenomenon has opened for the “Queen of Pop” Madonna and electronic superstar David Guetta, and he produced remixes for such global music stars as Britney Spears and Rihanna.
Most impressive about Bermudez is that the music scene is not about accolades and awards. While a Grammy win would be nice, he feels the dance music industry is “skitzo” in its own way, where one sound is hot one moment, and out of favor the next. His greatest prize is making an impact in the lives of his fans, especially when his music helps them smile in difficult times or deal with something challenging.
