On their latest radio single, Jonathan said, “It was written by a good friend of ours in Australia, and two of our other friends in Nashville. We were sent the song while out on a road trip in Missouri. We heard ’11:59 (Central Standard Time)’ and by the end of the first chorus, we hit pause, and we all looked at each other, and knew this was our song.”
The song is making its way up the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, entering the Top 60 at No. 59. “That feels so good,” said Jordan. “We heard the news yesterday, and we hoping that in the next few months it will keep climbing up.”
When asked what inspires their music, Cassandra said, “It depends on what we are all feeling at the time. We all have different writing styles and things that move us. When we come together for rehearsals, it is by committee or if somebody is passionate about something and they take the lead on it.”
In 2010, the trio quitting their day jobs and committed to music full-time. “I used to play for an artist named Josh Turner, when I moved to town, and that was an awesome experience. After that, we decided to start this band full-time,” Jordan said. “It has been a crazy, cool roller-coaster for us,” Jonathan added.
In the dream collaboration choices department, Cassandra listed Bonnie Raitt, Jordan selected Vince Gill, and Jonathan picked Zac Brown Band.
