The Pretty Reckless team up with Warren Haynes for new single

The Pretty Reckless have dominated the rock charts over the last eight years. They scored four No. 1 singles (where they set records for having the first female-fronted band to have chart-topping singles in a row), and they are back with their new single, “Back to the River.” The last time this milestone was accomplished was back in 1984, over 30 years ago, with Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders.

“Back to the River” features Warren Haynes (from Gov’ Mule) on guitar. Lead singer Taylor Momsen noted in a press statement that the inclusion of Hayes on the track has helped elevate the song to a higher level.

In addition, The Pretty Reckless have been nominated for two Alternative Press Music Awards for “Artist Of the Year,” as well as for “Best Hard Rock Artist.” The fourth annual ceremony will take place on July 17 from Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena, where The Pretty Reckless will also be performing.

The rock band will continue to tour throughout the year to promote their new album. Their tour kicks off this week with upcoming shows with Soundgarden, as well as various festival shows including Rock on The Range, Carolina Rebellion and Northern Invasion in the United States and in Europe.
