Wantagh - The 90's Band performed at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Jan. 20 for "90's Night," following Fleetwood Macked's set.
They followed a superb concert by Fleetwood Macked, the acclaimed Fleetwood Mac cover group.
Nicoletta from the band kicked off their set with No Doubt's "Spiderwebs" and it was followed by Phil singing Green Day's "When I Come Around." They picked up the pace with upbeat "Wannabe" from the Spice Girls, prior to giving their audience some "Tubthumping," which is a staple at their live shows. Nicoletta showcased her powerhouse vocals on Alanis' "You Oughta Know," where even the male fans were singing along.
It was followed by the up-tempo "Hey Jealousy," before showing up their country-pop crossover side with Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman."
As red and green lights dimmed from the stage, Phil sang lead on Smash Mouth's "All Star." No 90's Band show is complete without them singing some fun Blink-182 hits. Phil nailed "What's My Age Again?" and then they asked the fans at the venue to sing "All The Small Things" entirely by themselves, as the band played the instrumentals. An equally fun sing-along tune was Oasis' "Wonderwall." When Nicoletta performed Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time," purple lights graced the Mike DelGuidice stage at Mulcahy's.
Overall, there is no better way to spend a Friday night than celebrating it with The 90's Band at Mulcahy's as they perform some classic hits from the 90's. Nicoletta, Phil, Luke and Bobby rock.
