Global music star Sting will host his "57th & 9th" album release party on AT&T at Irving Plaza in New York on November 9.
This exclusive and intimate performance will be broadcast on iHeartRadio stations, and it will stream on AT&T, and it will televise on Audience Network. Finally, it will be made available on DIRECTV and U-verse. It will also consist of a question and answer session with Sting.
On Nov. 2, iHeartMedia announced that Sting will take to the stage following his iconic performance at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival for his 57th & 9th iHeartRadio Album Release Party on AT&T at Irving Plaza on November 9, 2016. This pop-rock album will be released on November 11 via A&M and Interscope Records. The CD was produced by Martin Kierszenbaum and it is named from the Manhattan street corner that Sting crossed each day when he talked to the studio in Hell's Kitchen where the recordings were done. The theme in the lyrics of 57th & 9th deal with the idea of travel and motion.
A 16-time Grammy-winning artist, Sting will perform songs from his new album for the first time in a live concert setting. The iconic musician will be joined by a five-piece band that includes Dominic Miller on guitar, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, as well as Rufus Miller on guitar, with background vocals by Diego Navaira and Jerry Fuentes of The Last Bandoleros.
