This time, the group featured Matthew Stephens on lead vocals. Zac Brown Tribute Band performed such hits by Zac Brown Band including “Sweet Annie,” “Chicken Fried,” “Goodbye In Her Eyes,” and the mellifluous “Colder Weather.”
Most impressive was their live performance of Marshall Tucker Band’s “Can’t You See,” where they paid homage to the iconic southern rock group. The stage was graced in yellow lights and they really gave this southern rock classic their all, and it ended with a neat jam. Marshall Tucker Band front-man and lead singer Doug Gray would have been smiling upon their brave rendition.
Aside from “Can’t You See,” they also covered Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” which is a standard tune that Zac Brown Band performs in their arena shows.
The Verdict
Overall, Zac Brown Tribute Band are worth seeing live whenever they are on Long Island. They are all consistently talented musicians, and you can always count on them to provide a good night of music.
