article imageReview: Wolfie's Just Fine soars on 'Break My Back' single and video Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 5, 2018 in Music
Wolfie's Just Fine (Jon Lajoie) has released the lead single "Break My Back" from the forthcoming EP "Perfection, Nevada."
The track was written by singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Jon Lajoie, and it was subsequently produced and mixed by Mike Mogis. The song certainly has a haunting vibe to it, and it allows his rich, crisp vocals to shine throughout.
Lajoie also directed the music video from the song, which features veteran actor Xander Berkely of The Walking Dead (Gregory) and 24. He noted that the song is about how he has a tendency to compartmentalize different aspects of himself, and it deals with the struggle for dominance that arises afterwards.
His upcoming EP Perfection, Nevada will be released on June 22, 2018. It picks up where his critically acclaimed debut album left off. The EP is an exploration of his own coming of age story, and it is filled with references to classic nineties films, iconic grunge fashion, and synth programming.
Lajoie has enjoyed commercial success as a multifaceted entertainer. He is an actor, musician and comedian; moreover, he is best known for his role as Taco in the FXX series The League. Wolfie's Just Fine showcases his music independent of comedy.
Break My Back is available on iTunes.
The Verdict
