On August 30, rising singer-songwriter Walker Hayes has released his brand new country single "90's Country," which is filled with nostalgia.
The country star premiered the song on ABC's Good Morning America with his live performance earlier today. He co-penned the song with Shane McAnally and LYRX. In its lyrics, Hayes reminisces about '90s country, and he namedrops lines from such country standards from that era including "Strawberry Wine" (Deana Carter), "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" (Kenny Chesney), "Check Yes or No" (George Strait), "Friends in Low Places" (Garth Brooks," and "Walkaway Joe"(Trisha Yearwood), among many others.
Hayes is able to take his fans on a trip down memory lane, with his latest single "90's Country," which ought to be enjoyed for its beauty and simplicity. It is the quintessential song to listen to as the summer comes to a close.
On August 31, Hayes will be a part of "Boots On the Boardwalk," which is presented by the hit country radio station NASH FM 94.7.

To use a baseball analogy, Walker Hayes has knocked "90's Country" out of the ballpark and has hit a home run with this refreshing new single. Hayes' baritone voice is rich and smooth as silk. It will certainly resonate well with his fans and listeners, especially anybody who enjoyed his smash single "You Broke Up With Me." Country radio ought to add this new Walker Hayes tune on heavy rotation. "90's Country" garners five out of five stars.
