New York - On Friday, September 16, global music star Usher performed on AT&T Live at Pier 15 in South Street Seaport, New York, to celebrate his new studio album with iHeartRadio.
iHeartMedia created this event, which marked the first time masses of music fans were able to exclusively hear his new music live at Pier 15 South Street Seaport as they celebrated Usher's latest studio offering, Hard II Love, which was released on the same day via his record label, RCA Records. This event was broadcasted across Rhythm, Urban and CHR radio stations, and it was streamed on iHeartRadio's official website and WatchATT. In addition, it was televised on the AUDIENCE Network on DirecTV Ch 239.
Usher began his live show with "Need U," which is a track from his new studio album Hard II Love, which is a collaboration with Indian songstress Priyanka Chopra.
As he was talking about his new album, he informed the crowd that this project has "really been a labor of love." "I was able to express myself in many different ways, one, through the art," Usher said. It was followed by his single "Missing U," and he went on to sing additional songs from the new CD. When the singing sensation performed "Crash," Xylobands wristbands helped to light up the venue, which was a neat sight.
Usher concluded his mini-concert with his classic hits "U Got It Bad," "Let It Burn" and "Without You," his smash collaboration with electronic music star David Guetta.
