His show at Lavo was uplifting and high-octane; moreover, it was a blend of new material, as well as mash-ups, smash singles, coupled with neat grooves and infectious drops. There was something in it for everybody, and the New York audience could not get enough of Thomas Gold. It was one of those concerts that one did not want to end.
The inclusion of his new track “Don’t Stop (Creepin’) was an added bonus, and judging from the audience response, it is bound to be a major hit for the electronic star and his label, Armada Music.
The Verdict
Overall, Thomas Gold was sensational at Lavo Nightclub in New York City. His two hour set (from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.) was a true force to be reckoned with. The music was superb and the crowd was with him every step of the way, and the energy in the room was palpable. He is certainly one of the most underrated musicians in the electronic dance music (EDM) genre. Thomas Gold’s show at Lavo garnered an A rating.
