Marie debuted her version of “O Holy Night” on her Facebook page, which went viral within a couple of hours. She previously released another holiday single, “Just Another Night,” which she premiered exclusively on People Country.
She made her debut on the Radio Disney Country stage at the CMA Music Festival this past June in Nashville, Tennessee, and she has shared the stage with such country stars as Hunter Hayes, Thomas Rhett, Cam and reigning CMA “Male Vocalist of the Year” Chris Stapleton.
The Verdict
Overall, Tegan Marie’s crystalline rendition of “O Holy Night” possesses the tranquility of Alison Krauss meets Amy Grant. She is precocious and extremely talented. It garners an A rating, and it is worth more than just a passing glance.
