By Markos Papadatos     May 27, 2017 in Music
Neo-traditional country singer Shane Owens is back stronger than ever with his patriotic tune "19," which is off his "Where I'm Comin' From" album.
Owens will be performing "19" on Fox & Friends as part of his national television debut.
The poignant tune "19" was co-written by such country songwriters as Tom Hambridge, Jeffrey Steele and Gary Nicholson. The songs tells the story of a local football player that signed up for the military right out of high school following the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. In the end, the football star has paid the ultimate sacrifice as the tune describes a life that is tragically cut short. It is the quintessential song for Memorial Day weekend, and this holiday Owens will be partnering with Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
"19" is available on iTunes.
The Verdict

Most importantly, he has stayed true to his musical roots, and one could always count on Owens to deliver high-quality, traditional country music. "19" garners an A rating.
