article imageReview: Scott Clifton superb on 'Girl Go Home' studio album Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 17, 2017 in Music
In the daytime world, Emmy winner Scott Clifton is known for his starring role in "The Bold and The Beautiful," but he is also a talented musician. His album "Girl Go Home" is a gem.
The CD opens on a soothing note with the vulnerable "Love Song," and it is followed by the upbeat "Stain" and the sultry yet haunting "The Inside-Out." He picks up the pace with "Testify," while the heartfelt ballad "Seen" is sheer perfection, and one of the best songs on the album.
Equally stunning is the mellow "Unbeautiful," and the sassy "Stranger." It closes with three acoustic tunes, the refreshing
"Mannequin," the mid-tempo "Gravity," as well as the title track "Girl Go Home," which features his rich and crisp vocals.
Girl Go Home is available on Amazon and on iTunes.
The Verdict
Overall, Scott Clifton excels on his album Girl Go Home. He is able to show his daytime fans a different side of his artistry: his singer-songwriter side. This project is worth more than just a passing glance. His songwriting is raw, warm and honest. This pleasant CD earns an A rating. Bravo Scott Clifton.
