article imageReview: Ryan Cabrera soars on new laid-back single 'Whatever, Whenever' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 25, 2016 in Music
Singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera is back with his new single "Whatever, Whenever." It is from his indie project Beyond the Sky.
The track is a collaboration with Nash Overstreet from Hot Chelle Rae, and it was premiered exclusively on Billboard last week. It is the follow-up to his previous solo single, "House on Fire," which topped the Billboard Dance Club songs charts.
"Whatever, Whenever" has a laid-back and liberating vibe to it, which can soothe his listeners. This mellow song fared well with his fans when he performed it live at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Long Island. It is a neat introduction to his Beyond the Sky side project.
Cabrera is wrapping up the My2K Tour this month, along with such musical acts as 98 Degrees, O-Town and Dream.
The Verdict
Overall, Ryan Cabrera delivers on his new single "Whatever, Whenever." It has been several years since his last single was out, and it is great to hear new music from the gifted acoustic singer-songwriter. "Whatever, Whenever" is a keeper, and it earns an A rating.
"Whatever, Whenever" is available on iTunes.
