Review: Reverse Order back with refreshing new video for ‘Erase You’ (Includes first-hand account)

“Erase You” is featured on their latest Nothing to Hide EP, and it has a liberating message to it. Their performance of the song is laid-back and mellow. Front-man John Russo nails the lead vocals and plays acoustic and electric guitars in their music video, which is set next to a beach. Drew Katsock delivers on guitar, while Cruise Russo kills the drums. They are originally from Hackettstown, New Jersey, and they have been out on the road this summer, as part of the 2016 Vans Warped Tour.

“Out in the cold November the city’s asleep again, I’m wide awake, you’re leaving, is this a dream? or the end?” John Russo sings, in the opening verse. The song’s lyrics are conversational yet raw.

The Verdict

Overall, “Erase You” garners four out of five stars. Reverse Order showcases a tremendous deal of potential, and it’s worth well more than just a passing glance.
