Review: Rahn Anthoni releases sultry new single ‘I’ll Trust You’ (Includes first-hand account)

The single has elements of R&B soul, Christian as well as adult contemporary music. His latest single “I’ll Trust You” was written and produced by Dove-winning producer, Freddie Jerkins III. The song in loving memory of his late son, Aaron. The singer is able to turn tragedy into triumph by delivering a message of hope and love to his listeners.

Ever since, Anthoni became an advocate for special needs children. There is an annual award that is given in his memory entitled the “Aaron Hatcher Award”; moreover, he also started the Special Needs Rock Awards, as well as “They Can’t Talk But We Can” charitable organization.

“There was a story bout a man who lost his child, he cherished that young one till the day he took his last breath, he was so special you see he had to fight all his days and nights, but daddy loved him anyway, his disease was only a phase,” Anthoni sings, in the opening verse.

Anthoni hails from a small town in Florida. The singer got his first break when he sang background vocals for gospel songstress Dottie Peoples, which subsequently lead him to sign with Tate Music Group.

The Verdict

Overall, “I’ll Trust You” is a warm and delicate vocal performance by Rahn Anthoni. It is an extremely personal recording that is destined to touch the hearts of other people that hear it. “I’ll Trust You” earns an A rating.
