Review: RaeLynn excellent at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (Includes first-hand account)

RaeLynn performed an eclectic set at the Barclays, which was a good indication of what her forthcoming studio album will sound like on December 2, which will be released on her new record label, Warner Music Nashville.

Her signature song “God Made Girls” was mellifluous and soothing thanks to her sweet southern twang. She accompanied herself on acoustic guitar on the ballad “Diamonds,” prior to revealing that she married her best friend in February of this past year.

The highlight performance of the evening was her moving version of her latest single “Love Triangle,” which left many of the audience members in goosebumps due to its serious subject matter on divorce, which is a topic that hits home for RaeLynn. She was not afraid to display her vulnerability.

The Verdict

Overall, RaeLynn did a superb job opening for Blake Shelton at his inaugural show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Her bubbly personality was showcased throughout her set, and the audience loved her in return. She earned an A rating.
