Review: Qveen Herby delivers on new solo effort ‘EP 1’ (Includes first-hand account)

The EP was released on June 2 on the independent record label, Checkbook Records. It opens with the edgy and sultry “Gucci,” which is an anthem of expensive taste, and it is followed by “Busta Rhymes,” which is quite the mouthful of syllables.

Qveen Herby shows some attitude on “Zombie,” which is a song that many of her fans and listeners can relate to. Her EP closes on a liberating note with “Wild” and the refreshing tune “TIL WE GET BY.”

The Verdict

Overall, the new direction of Qveen Herby and her music is very promising. Each of the songs on here have their own identities. This five-track EP garners an A rating.

The new Qveen Herby EP is available on Amazon and on iTunes.
