Review: Projected releases spitfire music video for ‘Reload’ (Includes first-hand account)

The single “Reload” is up-tempo, spitfire and a true metal anthem, and their upcoming two-disc collection is any indication how their music is going to sound, then metal and hard rock fans are in for a treat.

Their double album, Ignite My Insanity, is scheduled for release on July 21 via the label, Rat Pak Records. It is available for pre-order on iTunes, and it is the follow-up to their 2012 self-released debut album, Human.

Fans who pre-order this collection on iTunes will receive an instant download of their single “Reload,” with two additional downloads scheduled prior to the full-album release.

Projected is made up of Sevendust guitarist John Connolly, Alter Bridge and Creed drummer Scott Phillips, Sevendust bassist Vinnie Hornsby and Tremonti guitarist Eric “E-ROCK” Friedman. The band formed when all of these aforementioned artists decided to create some music together. It has allowed all band members to explore some different ideas musically.

Ignite My Insanity is comprised of 21 all new tracks from the band, and it continues to build on their sound. This CD resonates with the fans of the member’s original bands, and it is bound to earn them new fans and listeners along the way. The album takes listeners on a journey inside the minds of the musicians.
