Review: Nina Soderquist and Bjorn Skifs back with power-ballad ‘Goodbye’ (Includes first-hand account)

Soderquist has been called “London’s Music Age,” and she earned rave reviews from media outlets worldwide for her musical theatre work in Spamalot in London’s West End. This was the biggest role played by a Swedish performer in the West End, for a long time period.

Throughout her career in the music business, Soderquist has toured with Bjorn Skifs (Blue Swede, “Hooked on a Feeling”) and BADROCK, where she rocked theaters and arenas all over the world. She has earned praised from such esteemed musicians as Meatloaf and Phil Collins.

“Goodbye” has a neat orchestral arrangement to it, and it allows both of their powerhouse voices to shine. Their crystalline vocals blend well with each other, and it is one true musical event. The song was released on September 22, and it was written by Soderquist; moreover, her control and vocal range are impeccable.

The Verdict

Overall, Nina Soderquist and Bjorn Skifs deliver on their new collaboration “Goodbye.” It is worth more than just a passing glance. Well done. “Goodbye” garners an A rating.
