Review: Mokita & Cade charm on new electronic track ‘Monopoly’ (Includes first-hand account)

The music video for “Monopoly” was directed by Chancellor Warhol and it was subsequently edited by Dylan Reyes. Mokita and Cade released this collaboration as their debut on the record label, Armada Trice.

“I don’t wanna be your game, you love to keep me hoping, I’ve had enough of your bullshit, now I am folding, Every time I hear your name, the memory’s just holding, I should’ve known that you’d play me, now I am broken,” Cade sings, in the opening verse.

“Monopoly” is comprised of warm vocal tones, mood-setting chord progressions, as well as strong rhythms and infectious beats. This track is ambient with a soothing vibe to it and it is pure ear candy. It is no wonder that the song and its music video went viral within a matter of two weeks.

The Verdict

Overall, Mokita and Cade are sensational on their new track “Monopoly.” Cade’s crisp vocals are a breath of fresh air. It is a substantial indication that Armada knows true and natural talent. They deserve a round of applause for a job well done. Expect big things from these artists in the future. “Monopoly” garners an A rating.

“Monopoly” is available on iTunes.
