The show was co-hosted by Bob Bronson and Christine Nagy of 106.7 Lite FM’s Morning Show, and it was presented by iHeartMedia.
Bob and Christine made the opening remarks and they praised the in-studio audience for looking gorgeous, prior to introducing Bublé. “Good evening everybody,” Bublé said, and kicked off his set with the title track of his new album, “Nobody But Me.”
He was subsequently interviewed by Bob and Christine where he opened up his passion for the Great American Songbook and jazz music. Bublé picked up the pace with “Everything,” where his voice was as smooth as silk, as he encouraged the audience to sing along. “You guys have beautiful singing voices,” he said, praising the fans.
It was followed by “Come Dance With Me,” and he introduced the new song “Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” which he claimed as his favorite song from the new record, and he hopes to release it as a single in the future.
“Home” was the fan-favorite vocal, which was a soothing and mellow performance as yellow lights dimmed from the stage. Equally charming was another new tune “I Believe In You,” and he showed off his “complete and utter revenge” on “I Wanna Be Around.”
“Thank you guys so much. That was lovely to play with you,” he told the audience. He paid tribute to the late Nina Simone with one of his favorite standards, “My Baby Just Cares for Me,” as green and blue lights dimmed from the stage, prior to delivering a sentimental version of “Haven’t Met You Yet.”
Bublé showcased his rich, baritone voice on “The Very Thought of You,” where he was accompanied solely on piano, and it was controlled and emotional. He tipped his hat to the late Frank Sinatra with a “song that gives him hope,” which was the classic hit “That’s Life,” where he proved to be one true song stylist.
He went on to give a shout-out to iHeartRadio for their support, and he closed with a heartfelt rendition of a new song, “God Only Knows,” where he was able to silence everybody in the room, as he nailed the vocal.
The Verdict
