Review: Maurice West impressive on new single ‘Voices in my Head’ (Includes first-hand account)

The song has a funky groove to it, and a neat electro-pop vibe, with strong synths, and a memorable drop. It is no wonder that West’s tracks have received support from such heavyweight electronic superstars as Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Tritonal and Morgan Page.

This track came after his debut at the Tomorrowland stage in Belgium, and after he collaborated with electronic act KSHMR. West had returned to his home base of Mainstage Music, where he created this new vivacious and refreshing tune.

“Voices in my Head” brings some warmth and heart to the big room genre of music, and the song is a gem for any contemporary dance-floor. The track is versatile and distinct from a sonical standpoint.

The Verdict

Overall, “Voices in my Head” is a solid track by Maurice West. He exhibits a great deal of potential to become the next big male electronic star. The single garners 4 out of 5 stars.
