Review: Magnus Murphy stuns in acoustic version of ‘White Water’ single (Includes first-hand account)

He maintains great control over his crisp, rumbling voice, which is smooth as silk. Murphy is very expressive, he takes his time, and he allows his storytelling ability to shine throughout this vocal performance. It is a warm and tender tune that is filled with raw emotions.

“I’m scared, baby I’m petrified, I’m so in love with you, your brilliant mind your soul, your crystal piercing eyes, my muse,” he sings in the opening verse, thus instantly luring his listeners in this piano-laden ballad.
