Review: Luke Pell delights on new single ‘Pretty Close’ (Includes first-hand account)

A country singer-songwriter, Pell announced the release of his new, highly-anticipated single, “Pretty Close,” on Friday, January 20. It was exclusively premiered on Sounds Like Nashville, and it is one of a series of releases that will take place at six week intervals over the next few months. The song is catchy, radio-friendly and a great deal of fun. It has a modern country-rock vibe to it that will resonate well with his listeners, especially those that enjoy listening to Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell.

Pell is best known for capturing hearts across America on the most recent season of ABC’s hit television series, The Bachelorette. He recently made appearances on several nationally syndicated shows, including The Bobby Bones Show, Sirius XM’s The Highway, NASH FM’s America’s Morning Show, Entertainment Tonight, Digital Journal and Extra.

He is signed with Peermusic, and he has collaborated with some of the industry’s greatest songwriters, which include producer Brandon Kinney, as well as country stars Cole Swindell, Ash Bowers and Dan+Shay, among others.

“Pretty Close” is available on iTunes.

Country heartthrob Luke Pell chatted with Digital Journal about his music career.
