Review: Love and Theft wonderful on new country single ‘Candyland’ (Includes first-hand account)

The song in itself is sweet, coupled with infectious hooks, and soaring harmonies for band members Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson. The melodies are soothing and impressive.

“We’re racing down the hallway, like a Carolina speedway, your lips are like sugar, no and I couldn’t stop at just one taste,” they sing.

The Verdict

Overall, Love and Theft are exceptional on their brand new single “Candyland.” They have been gone for way too long on the radio airwaves, and it is great to have them back. They prove yet again that they can sing anything and make it sound remarkable, including the phone book. They are able to paint a vivid pictures in the minds of their listeners. “Candyland” garners an A rating.

“Candyland” is available on iTunes.
