Review: Loreno Mayer, David Bulla and Michael Zhonga soar on ‘Surrender’ (Includes first-hand account)

Most impressive about this tune is that is high-quality progressive house music, with a retro vibe to it. Electronic sensations Loreno Mayer and David Bulla soar on the production, with its stunning synths, hooks and drop.

Michael Zhonga’s velvet vocals on “Surrender” are magical, and they help elevate the song to a higher level. Zhonga’s voice crystalline and atmospheric, and custom-made for the electronic genre of music. The song itself has a stirring vibe to it, and it is worthy of the repeat button.

The Verdict

Overall, “Surrender” is one of the finest progressive house collaborations released this summer. Loreno Mayer, David Bulla and Michael Zhonga are all exceptional on the track, which is a match made in electronic music heaven. “Surrender” garners two giant thumbs up.
