article imageReview: Liam Grae releases soulful single 'Typical,' an ode to simplicity Special

By Markos Papadatos     Feb 12, 2019 in Music
On Tuesday, February 12, rising singer-songwriter Liam Grae independently released his new sultry radio single "Typical."
Grae recorded the song in Los Angeles, California, at the Bedrock LA. It was subsequently produced by Todd Bergman (who has worked with such artists as Alessia Cara and Nicki Minaj) and Andrew Furze from So You Think You Can Dance and The X Factor. The song itself is soulful and sensual at the same time. Many listeners can relate to its message, especially anybody who has dealt with the complications of dating.
"Typical" is available on Spotify. Grae co-wrote this ballad with Tommy Parker, which is a true ode to simplicity.
The Verdict
Overall, "Typical" is yet another strong vocal performance by Liam Grae. He is not afraid to be raw and vulnerable, and Grae has been consistently good with the songs that he has released thus far, which include "Uniform" and his cover of "The Christmas Song." "Typical" earns 4.5 out of 5 stars.
