Review: Karl Wolf charms on ‘Wherever You Go’ single and music video (Includes first-hand account)

His distinct version of Richard Marx’s “Wherever You Go” encompasses elements of R&B, pop, adult contemporary and hip-hop. Karl Wolf deserves a huge round of applause for the music video’s stunning cinematography, which helps transport his viewers to different realms.

He is not afraid to take risks with his music, and it is evident that this risk paid off. The song has a Chris Brown vibe to it, and that ought to be taken as a compliment. Wolf produced the track with Toronto’s youngest up-and-coming producer, MasterTrak, and he included some Middle Eastern influences in the main drop.

The Verdict

Overall, Karl Wolf’s new “Wherever You Go” song and music video garners an A rating. The song is infectious, with strong melodies, and the music video (filmed in Greece) helps to elevate it to a higher level. Congratulations.

“Wherever You Go” is available on iTunes and on Spotify.
