By Markos Papadatos     Jul 19, 2017 in Music
Rising country artist Kane Brown has a major reason to celebrate. His infectious song "What Ifs" has been certified gold.
His latest single "What Ifs," featuring country songstress Lauren Alaina, sits at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, after charting for 22 weeks. It moves up four spots from No. 24 on the previous week. The icing on the cake was the presentation of the gold plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The song is being played on consistent rotation on the radio airwaves, especially at New York's country station NASH FM 94.7, and rightfully so. Along with his breakthrough hit "Used to Love You Sober," it is one of Brown's best singles to date. The inclusion of Lauren Alaina on there, helps elevate it to a higher level. "What Ifs" garners two thumbs up.
"What Ifs" is available on iTunes.
