article imageReview: Justin Moore back with liberating new single 'Kinda Don't Care' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Sep 19, 2017 in Music
Country star Justin Moore is back with his new mid-tempo single "Kinda Don't Care," which is the title track of his latest album.
"Kinda Don't Care" is the follow-up to his two previous chart-topping country singles "You Look Like I Need a Drink" and "Somebody Else Will": moreover, it was the No. 1 most-added song on country radio. It was co-written by such country songwriters as Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman and Ben Hayslip.
"I kinda wanna light up a couple smokes, kinda want some Crown mixed in my Coke, kinda wanna hole up in some corner booth somewhere, I kinda wanna find a pretty little thing," Moore sings, in the chorus.
His new single is liberating and fun, with a carefree vibe to it. In this song, he pays homage to his rural roots and upbringing. In a previous interview with Digital Journal, Moore listed "Kinda Don't Care" as one of his two personal favorite tracks on the new album, and rightfully so. "Kinda Don't Care" garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
