article imageReview: Julia Lambert superb on brand new self-titled EP Special

By Markos Papadatos     Nov 18, 2017 in Music
On November 10, Long Island teen singer-songwriter Julia Lambert has independently released her brand new EP, which is quite impressive.
It opens with the mid-tempo yet crisp "Junk Drawer," where her vocals are reminiscent of Adele ("Set Fire to the Rain"), and it is followed by the bluesy and sultry "Closer." She picks up the pact with "Insipid Daydream," which is distinct and soulful.
After the optimistic tune "Holding on to You," it closes with the aggressive piano-driven ballad "New Kidnapper" and on a soothing note with "Crescent Moon."
Julia Lambert's eponymous EP is available on Amazon and on iTunes.
The Verdict

Fans of such songstresses as Duffy, Adele and Amy Winehouse would be pleased with this EP by Long Island's Julia Lambert. This EP garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
