New York - Acclaimed rock group Imagine Dragons took home the 2018 MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for "Best Rock Video" for "Whatever It Takes."
This year's award ceremony took place on August 20 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The "Best Rock Video" award was not aired during the live MTV VMA telecast similar to the previous two years.
In this category, Imagine Dragons bested competition from such musical acts as Fall Out Boy's "Champion," Foo Fighters' "The Sky Is a Neighborhood," Linkin Park's "One More Light," Panic! at the Disco's "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" and Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Walk on Water."
This summer, on July 28, Dan Reynolds and Imagine Dragons headlined the LoveLoud Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"Whatever It Takes" is available on iTunes, and on Spotify. It was the third single released from the band's third studio album, Evolve, in October of 2017. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Rock Songs charts.
