It is an exceptional tongue-in-cheek take on the original video by O.T. Genasis, following cocoa farmers in the Dominican Republic and playing with the whole coco/cocoa reference.
The video is set on a cocoa estate in Trinidad, where they recreate several original set ups. The song has a playful nature to it, and the music video documents the cocoa-making process of their very own brand of chocolate; moreover, it captures the lives of the farmers that have built a community that are well, and in love with the cocoa.
Over the years, Hitimpulse has collaborated with such artists as Craig David, Felix Jaehn, Steve Aoki, Adam Lambert, Blonde, Shaggy and Julian Perretta, among others.
“I’m in Love with the Coco” is available on iTunes and on Spotify.
