It is the second track on his latest studio album, This Path Tonight, which garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.
His vocals on this acoustic ballad are mellow, crisp, haunting. Nash is able to paint a vivid picture in the minds of his listeners thanks to his authentic songwriting and storytelling. It is a stunning collaboration with his producer and guitar player, the ever-talented Shane Fontayne.
“Light is slowly fading and the night comes on so fast, I’m drowning in my dreams, it’s so hard to fight the past, when all is said and done, it’s so hard to count the cost,” Nash sings, in the opening verse.
The Verdict
