article imageReview: Fleetwood Macked sensational at Mulcahy's in Wantagh Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 21, 2017 in Music
Wantagh - Hillary Epstein delivered as Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Macked at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Long Island.
Epstein underwent several outfit changes and went on to perform such smash hits as "Gold Dust Woman" and "Gypsy." The band as a whole shined on "The Chain," "Rhiannon," "Go Your Own Way" and "Don't Stop," where Epstein played tambourine.
Another treat was their duet "Leather and Lace," while their version of "Landslide," featuring Epstein's distinct vocals, left many fans in tears. They closed with the spitfire "Edge of Seventeen," with Epstein wearing Nicks' signature white dress. The Mulcahy's crowd was with them every step of the way, and they were able to form a strong connection with their audience and the music.
Aside from Epstein as Stevie Nicks, Sue Rowe portrayed Christine McVie (who was superb on "Over My Head"), Niles Hughes portrayed Mick Fleetwood, Michael Epstein was Lindsey Buckingham and Chris Arrigo played John McVie. Her band members soared on harmony vocals.
The Verdict
Overall, Fleetwood Macked was superb at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh. Hillary Epstein looked and sounded like Stevie Nicks thanks to her harking and lilting alto voice. They did Fleetwood Mac justice, as they dusted off their classic hits and performed them for their Long Island audience. Fleetwood Macked is worth seeing live whenever they are in town. Their live show garnered 4.5 out of 5 stars.
