Review: Five for Fighting delights on new ‘Christmas Where You Are’ duet (Includes first-hand account)

The poignant song is anthem of celebration for the troops and their families during this holiday season. Their new song, comprised of heart-warming lyrics, spreads a message of gratitude, love and support to everybody that is serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

In addition, the song will be featured on the upcoming Jim Brickman holiday album, A Joyful Christmas, which includes classic hymns and carols that are mixed with new original songs and duets. Brickman’s new album will be released on all digital formats on November 10 via BMG.

The artists are also giving a part of the proceeds to the Gary Sinise Foundation, which assists defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need, as well as John Ondrasik’s initiative, What Kind of World Do You Want.

The Verdict

Overall, Five for Fighting and Jim Brickman deliver on their special new song “Christmas Where You Are.” It will definitely strike a chord in the hearts of their listeners, especially the troops and their families. Brickman and Ondrasik are a match made in musical heaven! This song garners an A rating.
