article imageReview: Finding Faith will melt your heart with self-titled new album Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jun 5, 2018 in Music
Andrew Tierney (from the Australian group Human Nature) and Timothy Dunfield have released their brand new self-titled album with their musical duo Finding Faith.
This collection opens with the melodically infectious "Good Hands," which instantly lures the listener in this beautiful 12-track collection of songs. It is followed by the mid-tempo yet refreshing "Love Be the River," whose lyrics are pure poetry, as well as the charming ballad "Precious Life."
"God Is Amazing" is an ode to gratitude and they pick up the pace with the glorious, uplifting tune "There Is Love." They slow down the pace with the bluesy, gospel song "If I Ever Needed Someone," where they are backed by a choir. Equally noteworthy is the optimistic "Scars & Grace." "Cornerstone" is a tune about righteousness, while the powerful "Overflow" stands out by a mile.
Their song "Great Day," will certainly brighten one's outlook on life, and they close with the piano-driven ballad "God of Grace," which is simultaneously heartfelt and comforting.
Finding Faith's new album is available on iTunes.
The Verdict
Overall, Finding Faith have released a stunning inspirational album with their eponymous CD. Andrew Tierney has always been one of the most underrated male vocalists in the contemporary music scene, and he and Dunfield shine throughout this entire musical project. It deserves to go No. 1 on the Christian music charts. Tierney's falsetto is an eighth world wonder. This CD garners an A rating.
