article imageReview: EC Twins release video on journey from homeless to headliners Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 16, 2017 in Music
House duo EC Twins have released their new video clip on how they went from homeless to headliners in the electronic music industry.
Allister and Marc Blackham open up on how their social media posts only depict the "good half" of their lives (packed stages, fancy cars and clubs full of glamorous people), and there is so much more to their journey. "You can't carefully edit it and filter," they acknowledged.
They overcame rejections, failures, closed doors, as well as disappointments and toil. "There is nothing special about us. We were two kids from a housing project who grew up with a single father," they admitted. During their difficult times, music became their escape, which subsequently led them to be fascinated by music.
EC Twins discuss how life was for them back when they first came to America to pursue their passion. They were just another voice in a crowd of hopefuls. They attribute positive thought to helping bring major (positive) change in their life. All their hard work paid off when they inked a record deal with Sony Music, among other neat signings. Way to go guys!
