By Markos Papadatos     Aug 17, 2016 in Music
Country singer Dylan Scott is back with his brand new studio album, which was released on August 12, via the record label Curb Records.
Scott's CD opens with his infectious radio single, "Lay It On Me," and the ballad, "My Town," which has a neat echo effect to it.
It continues with the relationship tune "Passenger Seat," and "My Girl" is a gorgeous love ballad. "Back" showcases his soft side, and "Crazy Over Me" is sheer bliss.
He picks up the pace with the upbeat "Ball Cap," while "Beer Buddies" is a song that many listeners can relate to, especially his male listeners. "I Lost You" has a haunting vibe to it. "Living Room" is a smooth acoustic ballad, and it closes with the unapologetic "Rules," and "Do You Think About Me."
The Verdict
Overall, Dylan Scott has released a strong debut album with this new CD. The best part is that it does not include his song "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm." It earns four out of five stars.
