Review: Dreamers release new single ‘Screws,’ to embark on summer tour (Includes first-hand account)

“Screws” will be featured on the group’s forthcoming EP, which is expected to be released early in the summer. It is a sensually-charged tune that is driven by pounding drumbeats, strong melodies and emotional lyrics.

Lead singer Nick Wold noted that “Screws” is a tortured love song about losing your mind, and rightfully so. It certainly has a retro ’90s vibe to it, melodically and lyrically (due to its dark and intense nature).

“Screws” is available on iTunes.

On October 1, 2018, Dreamers will be performing at Bowery Ballroom in New York City, as part of their headlining tour.

Throughout their career in the music business, Dreamers have shared the stage with such diverse musical acts as Stone Temple Pilots, X Ambassadors, The 1975, Bleachers, Atlas Genius Catfish and The Bottlemen, Weezer, and The Griswolds, among others.

The Verdict

Overall, Dreamers deliver on their new single “Screws.” It is definitely worth more than just a passing glance. Dreamers have a distinct sound and tone to their music. Their new song “Screws” garners four out of five stars.
