DJ Pebbles is an Australian pop singer who broke onto the American pop charts last summer with “To Not Love You.” Her new single “Heart Away From You” was produced by former American Idol judge Randy Jackson. Most impressive about the track is that it tells her true-left story about the love she left behind Down Under, in an effort to pursue her musical dreams in the “Big Apple.” The song deals with the desire to have a love back, and it is optimistic and relatable to many of her listeners.
The songstress described the tune as a “Romeo and Juliet” style track, and rightfully so. By making that Shakespearean reference, she noted that it’s about forbidden love, as well as coming to terms with the idea that some things need to end (one door would need to close), in order for a new door to open.
She credits her producer, Randy Jackson, for playing a vital role in her music career, as well as for being one true go-getter.

DJ Pebbles’ new song “Heart Away From You” is very neat and promising. She exhibits a great deal of potential as a recording artist. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Well done.
