article imageReview: Craig Wayne Boyd dazzles on new country album 'Top Shelf' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Oct 27, 2017 in Music
Country musician Craig Wayne Boyd has released a solid full-length studio album with his latest release "Top Shelf." Digital Journal has the scoop.
Top Shelf was released on October 27 via the Copperline Music Group. It opens with the stunning track "Stuck in My Head" and it is followed by "Somewhere in There," which features his rich, rumbling vocals, and the bluesy "She's Killing Me."
He shows his sassy and fun side on the flirty "Sweet Temptation," while "Better Together" is a beautiful vocal performance, filled with vivid imagery and lyrics. "Everywhere You Go" is mid-tempo with a neat groove to it.
The country album closes with the upbeat "Hold Me Up" and the soothing ballad "Only in My Mind," which showcases his wide vocal range. This closing tune is worthy of the price of the album alone. "Interlude," "Presence of the Lord" and "Sweet Temptation Mini Jam," are included as bonus tracks on the album.
Top Shelf is available on iTunes.
