Wantagh - On Sept. 1, country artist Chris Lane performed at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, where he opened for Kelsea Ballerini and Rascal Flatts.
Lane was able to introduce new music to his Long Island fan-base, which included his brand new single, "For Her," which garnered a favorable review from Digital Journal.
He also tipped his hat to the Backstreet Boys by performing their signature ballad "I Want It That Way," prior to covering The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face." He displayed his neat falsetto on his version of Jason Derulo's "Want to Want Me."
"Are you ready to take it to the next level?" Lane asked, prior to singing 'N Sync's smash single "Bye Bye Bye," where he and his band members had their dance moves to the tee. Lane closed his show with his latest, chart-topping single "Fix," as red lights dimmed from the main stage.
The Verdict
Overall, Chris Lane was able to put on a refreshing opening set at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, where he was able to warm up the stage for Kelsea Ballerini and Rascal Flatts. His set garnered an A- rating.
