article imageReview: Canaan Smith's 'Like You That Way' is a summer country anthem Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 20, 2017 in Music
Country sensation Canaan Smith's latest radio single "Like You That Way" is perhaps the country tune of the summer of 2017.
"Like You That Way" is mid-tempo, fun and infectious and it namedrops modern country princess Miranda Lambert, becoming the first country single to do so. Many country listeners, especially his female fans, can relate to its lyrics. This is a radio-friendly country tune that people can blast as they drive, with their windows rolled down. It deserves to get more momentum going on the radio airwaves, especially since it can get the party started in any country bar!
"Ain't nothin' about you, baby, I wanna change, girl, you're Miranda Lambert crazy and I like you that way," Smith sings, in the catchy chorus. The singer-songwriter notes that his female love interest keeps the sunshine in his pocket, and the rain on a chain, thus being a little complicated, but he likes her that way.
Smith's "Like You That Way" garnered a tremendous response when he performed it live on NASH FM 94.7's Stage 17 in New York, as well as at the Pennysaver Amphitheater on Long Island, and rightfully so.
"Like You That Way" is available on iTunes.
