Review: Bret Michaels tugs at the heart on moving ‘Jorja Bleu’ single (Includes first-hand account)

“Jorja Bleu,” was written for, and subsequently named after, his youngest daughter. It has a neat acoustic singer-songwriter vibe to it, and the song’s backbeat is quite infectious. Fans and music listeners can relate to the song’s poignant lyrics, and touching yet optimistic message.

His song “Jorja Bleu” is available on iTunes, and on Spotify.

On June 21, 2018, Michaels and his band Poison will be headlining the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Long Island. Poison will be sharing the stage with such musical acts as Cheap Trick and Pop Evil, as part of the “Nothin’ But A Good Time” Tour.

The Verdict

Overall, Bret Michaels outdoes himself with his latest single “Jorja Bleu.” It is an honest, stripped down performance, where the listener can enjoy it for its simplicity and beauty. One can really hear Michaels’ heart on this song. The veteran rocker is not afraid to be vulnerable, and by the end, the listener is drenched with a wide spectrum of raw emotions. “Jorja Bleu” garners an A rating.
