Their track “Monkey” is infectious, spitfire and rocking. It is comprised of killer guitar riffs and strong melodies, and it has a retro vibe to it. Julez Zamora nails the vocals.
The song’s lyric video is compelling since it tackles on the serious subject matter of drug addiction. “Pull the trigger, love the pain that you deliver, face the music when it’s done,” Julez sings.
“Monkey” is a song from their debut studio album, Forward, which was released in June of 2017. It was produced by Joey Z, the guitarist of the alternative metal band Life of Agony.
Most recently, on August 11, Brand of Julez performed a rocking six-song set for a sold-out crowd at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Long Island, where they opened for veteran rock star Bret Michaels of Poison.
Their hometown is New York City, and Brand of Julez is comprised of front-man Julez Zamora on lead vocals and lead guitar, Brandon Zamora on bass and backing vocals, as well as Chris Nichols on drums.

Overall, Brand of Julez does a solid job on their single “Monkey.” They display a wide range of talent and charisma as a hard rock band, and their music is very promising. Well done guys.
